I Can Just See The Lemmings Going Over The Cliff..!!!
wpe33.jpg (121568 bytes)Q: Where Is All this Wild Ginseng Root Coming From?

 A:
The Local Indigenous Natives Who Planted It, and A Few Poachers.
Poachers; They Are Like Claim Jumpers,
We Don't Worry About Them,
They Worry About Us!

"And"

What Can Be Done To Keep The Local "Indigenous" Natives
From Picking, "Our" Wild Ginseng Into Extinction.

"Indigenous" Meaning; Produced, Growing, Or Living Naturally In A Particular Region. (Webster's Dictionary)

Brief Story About History Of The Lemmings and Cliffs.
An Old Wife's Tale?

This goes back to about 1975, back when there was grant money available,
A
group got together and went to Iceland to make
a document Terry
about the lemmings running off the cliff.
They came back after a bit and
lo and behold

They had the lemmings on film running off of the cliff .
Scientific proof, that lemmings do run off of cliffs.

They were trying to link the lemmings and whales beaching themselves together and
much, much, more grant money was needed for research
and they got it.
"It was big news's"
It was shown all over the world, I saw it 5 or 6 times myself,
a bunch of lemmings running off the cliff
,

like they had the abominable snowman on film!

Went along couple years after that, it got leaked out,
Somebody got a hold of film showing,

"everybody" eating Lemming
with the indigenous natives.

The indigenous natives of the region considered lemmings a delicacy and
they used grass firer's to drive the Lemmings out of their burrows and over the cliff.

The natives explained that evening time work best and
where to set up their camera's so that the smoke wouldn't show.

They then went down and picked up the Lemming's and had a feast.

It was the biggest scandal of the academic world at the time
and that's what I mean by lemmings running off of cliffs!

The problem is that in this case, the Lemmings are the
Local Indigenous
Natives
and they have families to feed.

I Have Heard This Scrip Before, Seen It Done, So Have You.
Go Ask NASCAR, Jr., Mountain Dew and A Whole Lot Other Company's Who "Were" Advertising Ginseng On Television.
The Fur Fish and Game Set Down
At Hyatt Regency and
They Ruled That NASCAR, Mountain Dew and Others Of Their Kind, Were Exploiting
"Our" Wild Ginseng.

Lemmings Like To Driven Off The Cliff's, I Know,
Because I Saw It Television, Many Years Ago.
(Must Have Been The National Geography Channel)

Further More They Were Encouraging The Local Indigent, Illiterate, Indigenous Natives Into Picking
"Our" Wild Ginseng Into Extinction. Thus Depriving Future  Generations Of "Our" Wild Ginseng.
There For It Was The
Ruling Of The Fur, Fish and Game, That There Will Be
No More Advertising Ginseng On Television.
That Was That. Meeting Over.
"Smack With The Ruler Again"

Fur, Fish and Game Please Drive Some More
Lemmings
(Local Indigenous Natives) Over The Cliff, They Will Want To Film It.
When we go over the 70,000 pounds limit, they will shut us down.

M
ore Lemmings Being Driven over the cliff..!!

They Have Done It Before, Season Of O3 or So, They Changed The Age Limit From 5 Years To 10 Years For The Very Same Reasons,  It Was Encouraging The Local Indigent, Illiterate, Indigenous Natives
Into Over Harvesting Or "Over Planting?"
"Our" (Their..??) Wild Ginseng Into Extinction.
They Backed Off that One, After 2 Years.

West Virginia as a very liberal ginseng law.

The United States fur, fish and game has a quota of 70,000 pounds of wild ginseng root that can be harvested per year,
This 7 Percent Of What I Sell Per Year and Have Done So Since 1993.

70,000 pounds of wild ginseng root = 490,000 seeds = 70#s OF GINSENG SEED

The publicity generated by the TV show is going to bring growers from all all over, to bring their ginseng to West Virginia, so it can be labeled as wild ginseng.
It should be labeled wild simulated ginseng and therefore would be exempt exempt from the
Fur, Fish, and Game's 70,000 pounds limit.

There are 13 other dealers left, like me, on the internet. When we started in 1998 there were 97 and our category on the Internet.

When I came on the Internet and 98, The University North Carolina had a push going on in the Appalachian mountain region to replace tobacco with Ginseng.
The University liked my book and they liked that I sold small amounts.
They have promoted my seed and book steady down there ever since.

Q: Where does Mercury Come from?
A:
Mercury is found in cinnabar ores In Volcanic regions and anywhere you find Gold. Low levels of mercury are also in the biosphere.
It is also found in fossil fuels like gas, coal, and oil
.
The chief source of Mercury is from an ore called cinnabar (HgS) which is mined mostly in Spain and Italy. -

Reported Gold Occurrences in Michigan

Following are excerpts from "Gold in Michigan" by R. C. Allen (1911) and The "Ginseng Growers Guide" by Michael Hunter (1998)

"Ginseng Growers Guide" by Michael Hunter (1998)

In the lower peninsula of Michigan, the geology of the region has a tremendous bearing on the value of the ginseng, especially when you get into the Asian market. If you can show the Chinese just one little flake of gold out of your region, it makes their mouth water.

The soil that we are growing on went over one big gold deposit in Ontario. About one hundred miles north of Lake Superior, is the largest working gold mine in the North American hemisphere. If you come straight down from that, you pick up the gold deposits in the upper peninsula. If you follow that flow, you can figure where the glacier went. Follow a map right on down the west side of Michigan. It came on down and made a bend around Jackson, which is one of the reasons this is my home base.

Study your geology. Indiana, Minnesota, Ohio and Wisconsin also have glacial deposits. Only Michigan and Indiana have significant amounts of gold mineralization, and then only in certain areas. There is no soil to equal southern Michigan's. Without a doubt Michigan will produce the finest ginseng in the world, just like it always did.

For years, the ginseng coming out of the Carolinas has been the highest prized ginseng in the world. That is gold bearing territory down there

"Gold in Michigan" by R. C. Allen (1911)

Upper Peninsula; Iron River in Octagon County. Area streams around Ishpeming, especially near old mines. Streams in and around the Huron Mountains in Marquette County.

Lower Peninsula; Allegan, Allegan County. Antrim Creek, Antrim County (nuggets). Boyne River, Charlevoix County. Little Traverse, Emmet County. Walton, Rapid River and Kalkaska, Kalkaska County. Near Lake, Leelanau County. Greenville and Howard City, Montcalm County. Little Sable River, Manistee County. Manistee River, Manistee and Wexford Counties. Muskegon River, Newaygo County. White River near Whitehall and Muskegon River, Muskegon County. White River, Oceana County. Birmingham, Oakland County. Marcellus, Cass County.

The renewed interest in prospecting combined with modern equipment and techniques, I believe will uncover gold in many previously untouched locations, and that well-known locations still hold significant amounts of recoverable gold..

From 1999 through 2004, the
Division of Scientific Authority included in its non-detriment finding
for the export of wild (including wild-simulated and woodsgrown)
American ginseng roots an age-based restriction (i.e., plants were
required to be at least 5 years old). In 2005, the Division of
Scientific Authority included in its non-detriment findings for the
export of wild American ginseng roots an age-based restriction that
plants must be at least 10 years old, and for the export of wild-
simulated and woodsgrown American ginseng roots that plants must be at
least 5 years old.
States with harvest programs for wild and/or artificially
propagated American ginseng are: Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Idaho,
Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Michigan,
Minnesota, Missouri, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio,
Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West
Virginia, and Wisconsin.

Planting cultivated seed

There are differing thoughts and schools as to seed source. Yes it would be great to have all native seed but, with all the sang that has been dug and sold over the past couple hundred years, any sang growing in an area was probably due to someone planting the seed there. It may be difficult to find seed for this year but, there are sources and the best thing to do is find some ginseng dealers (buyers) and ask them about seed. Much of the seed available will come from ginseng farms in Michigan or Canada. There is nothing wrong with their seed as far as germination and growing.

Evaluations
With A  Camera

A  service being offered by Glacial Ginseng Company is a visual site evaluation from pictures taken with a camera.   A question that I am being asked is "do I have a good site for growing ginseng?" one picture is worth a thousand words, and so what I am proposing to do is to have you go to your woods and starting in the southwest corner, walk towards the northeast corner, at about 2:00 in the afternoon.

Take pictures to your left and to your right as you walk.  The number of pictures is kind of up to you and depends on how big a piece of land you are working with, shoot up the rest of the film that is in your camera, a half a dozen good pictures on a ten acre woods should give me an idea of what your site is like.  Adjust the number of pictures by the size of your woods.   Have someone stand about 20 yards away and try to get the bottom of their feet just nicely in the picture.  Take some pictures of some of the places that you think ginseng might do well in and I will evaluate those.

After evaluation of your pictures and judging from the shade, etc. I will promptly mail you a report that will have my suggestions as to the light requirements and other improvements that you might do to your site, that would improve your chances for successfully growing ginseng, (of course, I will also tell you if your site is not suitable for ginseng growing).

We’re going to go for a trip back in time. About 10,900 BC and we’re going to start in Syria.

It’s going to be about high noon and a frosty meteorite is going to strike in the western side of Syria  It would have created a super huge bomb. These frosty meteorites are how the water got on earth in the first place.

Over the next 7 hours time zone difference, this meteorite shower kind of reminds me of the comet that hit Jupiter awhile back.  Syria is on the same latitude you go a third of the way around the world and you’re in South Carolina.

Any strikes that hit in the Mediterranean and North Atlantic we have no real evidence  but the heat and the effect it would have had on the glaciers and the European continent we get more in to that as we move to the west.

It’s been 7 hours, the world has turned, and our meteorites shower is now over Pennsylvania and North Carolina.  It should about 5 o’clock in the morning..  You have 2 major frosty meteorites hitting along with a whole swarm of little bitty ones.

The Pennsylvania meteor, the glacial ice sheet they estimate would have been short mile in depth.  The glacier melt the would have ensued when these two exploded in the same time zone would have triggered an immense amount of moisture vapor.  The temperatures from these two exploded would have been 1900 Centigrade to 22 hundred Centigrade.

It would have vaporized probably 80 percent of our glaciers and the last of them are hitting around Chicago that would have added up to about 40 minutes travel time.

During those 40 minutes of time, the temperature would have escalated on a planetary scale

It would have kicked a plume, like their geyser at Yosemite clear out into space, and probably sprayed the moon.  That would have put a tremendous amount of moisture in to our atmosphere; you could have seen sustained periods of time, hours yet before it cooled.

It vaporized, as the temperature lowered we condensed back and we began the “40 days and 40 nights”.

The Mediterranean raises 100 feet and the Bering land bridge gets closed.

The ensuing flood and glacial melt off here in Michigan created a flood  that gathered up all of the glacial deposits and moved it on to a bed of clay known as the

. it’s a pre-younger Dryus, these meteorites demolished the saber toothed tiger , the Clovis Indians the mammoths ,  and it would have created a fire in our Southern states, below the glacier,  that would have been like and incinerator, a fire storm.  It didn’t burn very long, it probably burned very hot.

As the temperatures lowered the floods began and the vapor recondences and your “40 days and 40 nights” began.

The end result is you have the gold arc mineral deposits of south western Michigan.

That is a old meteorite crater, Michigan crater. 226 miles across is a sandstone deposit about 17hundred feet. Then there is a layer of salt down there its about 15hundred feet.  Complements of National Geographic they showed on their tv show that salt deposit lays in a nice round circle and follows right around  the Lake Michigan to the Straits of Mackinaw and around by Manitowoc and that other

Peninsula  and right along the edge of Lake Huron the circle continues winds up

around Detroit..  Across Detroit it continues till you get about to the Indiana line. Then there's a break that a glacier carved out follows the same line from striations canyons there up there by Waa and it puts you on a pay streak of surface enrichment that got carried down  from the Warsaw River to Fort Wayne there’s a fracture that runs down through there dropped all those nuggets down there through Warsaw

Deposit up here in Michigan runs right along between 127 and 131.

80 percent of our Glaciers are now gone and after that impact in South Carolina, the waters came rushing in, everything that was being carried with this last ice age winds up there in the “Noah Flood Plane” all this ready for the prospector  .

If you look at the picture there of the glacial Michigan current from Google earth.

You’ll see the striations marks actually the canyons that the glaciers cut in their movements it gives you the directions that they were going .

The North to South up there Wawa Ontario, big gold mine up there. Another big gold deposit  up there at Red Lake.  These deposits were caused by the original  meteors of the Sudsbury 1.8 billion years ago.

As the glacier movements started about 2 million years ago the original glacier followed these paths went over theses super deposits the ones there at Sudsbury and Kirkland lake. Sudsbury has produced 70 million ounces of gold  and the last hundred years they founded that field up there around 1910. To 1912. It was discovered when they put the railroads in there. Have been mining steady in Sudsbury for 100 years  and they estimate that they have another hundred years at the same kind of production .

Kirtland Lake is a little bit bigger operation but I don’t think their mineral deposits are quite as extensive but their saying they ‘ve got that same kind of reserves.

Those  deposits were created during a combination primarily impact craters.

When gold is created in building mountains it gets leached out of the surrounding minerals and gets condensed in to little gold nuggets. When you deal with a meteor impact the shock waves shatters the surrounding bedrock and the molten gold material minerals come up through

It ran out of fuel, it just didn’t last very long, but it created the heat that melted the glaciers.

The ensuing flood and glacial melt off here in Michigan created a flood  that gathered up all of the glacial deposits and moved it on to a bed of clay known as the

.

As the temperatures lowered the floods began and the vapor recondences and your “40 days and 40 nights” began.

The end result is you have the gold arc mineral deposits of south western Michigan.
